Stevedores
You can outsource our professional, certified and experienced stevedores. We do this for both short-term and long-term projects at our own terminal as well as at other locations in the Netherlands and abroad. By doing this, we think along with you in a focused manner. This concerns stevedores for general cargo, bulk and project shipments. The stuffing and stripping of containers and repacking work (val/vas) are also possible.
Stevedores Harlingen: loading, unloading, transshipment and storage
Nesta Shipping is a unique specialist in logistics services. We provide a total package of logistics services. We combine our knowledge of being a shipping agent and our expertise in customs regulations, stevedores, (sea) shipping and road transport.
Nesta Shipping has an excellent terminal of 7 ha with the following facilities:
- 420 meters of quay with a draft of 8.5 meters and a maximum load of 20 tons per m², including 125 Ampere shore power and water connection
- 2 mobile harbor cranes (35 tons and 20 tons) on 350 meters of rails directly on open waters (North Sea)
- Shovels, forklifts and aerial work platforms with a maximum lifting capacity of 16 tons
- Transshipment terminal of 7 ha, of which more than 9000m² covered storage space
- Office and canteen facilities
- Warehouse space
- Outsourcing of experienced stevedores, operators and drivers

Widely employable and certified stevedores
All Nesta Shipping stevedores can be employed flexibly and have the necessary certificates and papers. In addition, all our employees have a VCA diploma and a first aid certificate. Our stevedores have experience with a wide variety of project loads.
Harlingen harbor area: an ideal location with a direct connection to the North Sea and access to the Ijsselmeer
Nesta Shipping provides logistics services in and around the port of Harlingen and the ports around the IJsselmeer. We transport goods quickly and efficiently from our terminal at the Nieuwe Industriehaven in Harlingen. Here we have an open connection to the North Sea and traffic-free connections to the hinterland. Harlingen is located on the North Sea and has a strategically interesting location for international connections and the offshore and windmill industry that are active in the North Sea and the IJsselmeer, 1 hour from Amsterdam. This allows us to guarantee an optimal logistics service.
